Thealus ("we," "us," "our") is a creative studio based in Toronto, Canada, producing cinematic video ads, campaigns, and UGC for brands. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we handle it. We keep it short because this site collects very little.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. This website does not have a form that stores your details. If you choose to contact us by email or phone, or book a call through our scheduling link, you may share information such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and details about your project. We only receive what you choose to send.

Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted by a third-party provider (Netlify) that may automatically record standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

What we do not do. We do not use analytics tools, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels on this site. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

Third-party services

To operate, we rely on a small number of third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Calendly — used for scheduling calls. When you book, the details you enter are handled by Calendly under its privacy policy.
• Netlify — hosts this website and may process standard server log data.
• Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on this site.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to respond to enquiries, discuss and provide our services, prepare proposals and invoices, and operate this website. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, as needed to operate, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was provided — for example, to manage a project relationship — and to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

International visitors

We work with clients worldwide. If you contact us from outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
